Sakhe Jele AKA Charles Rali has 12 years of experience in production but mostly in post production. He has worked for a number of leading production houses and broadcasters in South Africa including the national broadcaster SABC and the cable network, Mnet. He has edited numerous television shows. Some of the genres he has worked on include lifestyle, wildlife, kids, religious, talk shows and sports. He also directed some inserts (ENG) for two primetime magazine shows one called Mzansi Insider and other called StarGist. He also worked as a lead editor at Mnet studios. Some of his responsibilities included packaging major shows like American Idols, The View, Oscars, BAFTAs and Grammys and edited them for African distribution. Sakhe Jele had an opportunity during the soccer world cup in 2010 to work as an assistant editor on a reality show produced by Ridley Scott & Associates called Budhouse where he worked with the crew from Los Angeles; this inspired him to pursue directing. He then visited LA, shot and directed a pilot episode for a reality show. Upon his return to South Africa, he started an NGO (King Zukha) which seeks to impart filmmaking skills to the youth in underrepresented areas. Together with King Zukha NGO he has helped shoot numerous short films. Sakhe Jele recently directed a feature film called Ubuntu Bethu which is currently on Mnet (cable network). His film is now being televised in South Africa and in other countries in Africa.
